Valley Builders uses a simple step by step approach to each remodeling project and works to help the client understand the Remodeling Process.
   
1.) Initial phone interview – to get an overview of the project, establish schedule, budget expectations, owner participation

2.) Introduction Package – to allow you to get to know us – we are professionals

a. Reference list - for your “homework” on us!

b. Company bio and credentials

c. Community/professional involvement

                    d. “How to Find a Professional Remodeler” 
                         brochure

3.) Site visit – gather project information, assess existing conditions and materials

                    a. Take field dimensions and photos

                    b. Determine scope of project and

                    c. Realistic discussion of budget expectations

                    d. Establish mutual comfort with relationship and
                        communication

4.) Presentation of “Preliminary Numbers” range form, no obligation

                    a. Review outline of project

                    b. Clarify extent of client involvement

                    c. Designate allowances

5.) Retainer Agreement

        a. Mutual commitment demonstrated to address
            project development, outline, drawings, product
            selection

                   b. Bring the rest of the “Team” on board

                   c. Due diligence, discovery, further relationship
                       building

                   d. Tighten “range” based on selections

6.) Presentation of contract documents

        a. Finalized language, specifications, drawings

        b. General conditions, Change Orders,
            performance guidelines
       
        c. Draw schedule, project schedule, completion
            date

           7.) Project commencement

        a. Building permit

        b. Team assembly and mobilization

        c. Order all components

        d. Produce project
  
8.) Customer satisfaction

        a. Punch list and walk through

        b. Final “Satisfaction” draw

        c. Client audit – “How did we do?”

        d. Added new name to our reference list
